Bob Sansevere hosts “The BS Show” Monday through Friday, posts a daily blog at the bs blog command writes a column for the St. Paul Pioneer Press. He was a member of the KQ Morning Show for 27 years and had his own show on Sports Radio 105 the Ticket before starting “The BS Show” in July 2015.
Bob has been a columnist with the Pioneer Press since 1990 and was on the Orono City Council for eight years.
He is a winner of the Eric Sevareid Award for a series of commentaries he did for KSTP-TV and was part of an investigative team whose work on a cheating scandal at the University of Minnesota led to a Pulitzer Prize for the Pioneer Press.
Bob has been a contributor to several TV sports shows, including ESPN, and wrote a book entitled, “The Best Minnesota Sports Arguments.” He also was involved in designing the official AMHR-ASPC rings and pendants with Jostens, an internationally known company that has provided championship rings for Super Bowl, World Series, NBA, NHL and NCAA champions.
Bob makes no claim of athletic prowess, however, since 2005, with the help of very athletic horses, Bob has won 34 National championships at AMHR Nationals and Shetland Congress, including 21 national titles in jumping classes (17 in Jumper and four in Hunter). Between 2006 and 2009, Bob won three of four Adult Jumper Under National titles with two minis: Classique’s Phantom Gold (2006 and 2008) and Festervans Bodaous (2009). In 2012, Bob became the first exhibitor to win Adult Jumper Under and Golden Age Jumper Under in the same year. He has won every Golden Age Jumper class he has entered.
Bob has chosen Resthaven Horse Rescue as the non-profit organization/charity he is representing.
