Eric Anderson is a vice president at Blackburn Investment Management, Inc. Blackburn is a Minneapolis based private investment firm that develops and manages value-oriented investment strategies. Eric received his Bachelor of Science from Gustavus Adolphus College and his Master in Professional Accounting from the Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas.
Eric has been a member of the Rotary Club of Minneapolis since 2016 but effectively a Rotarian his entire life. His earliest memories of Rotary include work trips to Laredo, TX to paint school buildings with his father’s Rotary club while in growing up in Southlake, TX. While attending Gustavus he had the opportunity to complete a job shadowing program in Guadalajara, MX with the Rotary Club of Zapopan. Shortly after starting his first job in Dallas and Eric became an official Rotarian by Joining the Rotary Club of Dallas. Over the 6 years of active membership in Dallas Eric assisted with the club’s centennial celebration committee, mentored a high school student through the clubs DREAM Team program and held the treasurer role of the foundation of the club. Shortly after moving to Minnesota to start with Blackburn Eric joined the Rotary Club of Minneapolis. Since then he has started a term on the the board of Directors for the Minneapolis club’s foundation and looks forward to building long term relationships and doing good works in the Minneapolis area through the Rotary Club of Minneapolis.
Eric lives in St. Louis Park with his wife Heather, their son Graham and their golden retriever Rosie. In his spare time Eric enjoys as much outdoor activity as he can get through running, hunting and water sports.
