Dancing to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Bio:
Jake Travis is a native Minnesotan with a passion for giving back to his community. He was recruited during college to join tech and marketing startup, DIVI, where his gift of being incredibly outgoing has served him well. Over the last two years, Jake has personally met with nearly every business owner in the Twin Cities to invite them to use mobile platform DIVI UP, an app that helps businesses raise money for local charities by marketing their promotions. Recently, Jake’s four-year-old daughter, Mia, asked him to teach her to dance. When Jake himself was that age, his grandfather fought to survive Stage 3 Lymphoma, so when the opportunity arose to dance to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, he knew it was fate.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. As there are no means of preventing or early screening for most blood cancers, the LLS research agenda is focused on finding cures.
